I am testing a new dynamic search/filter method that should be both easier to use and more functional than the current search button method.
It is currently on MAIN and BLOCK list for testing.
There is no button or navigation arrows. You just start typing!
This example is from BLOCK, but MAIN is similar. There is an “@” search on main that shows all repeats.
In the example above, I typed “GA” and any word with “GA” in it is found and the GA is underlined in red. There are 19 matches. On the BLOCK list, repeat words are highlighted in yellow, so we see our old friend CIGAR #0.
You can use a “?” as a wildcard character(s).
In the example above I narrowed the search to words starting with GA by adding the three wildcard ??? at the end. There are 9 matches.
Here I’ve forced the GA in positions 3 and 4. There are 5 matches:
