Used some tools and followed my hunches. Would have gotten it in two if I had not assumed today would be a repeat.
#1 PIANO – Got I and N. I took a look at the Wordles from the last few weeks. Saw several words that ended in Y. Is there another vowel? Which is it? U or E? Used the DF to see what words we have had with I, N and Y in them. Also, it’s been 12 days since we had a repeat word. Looked for a repeat that is a low number. There, near the end of the list was UNIFY at #195.
#2 UNIFY – Damn! I was wrong! Now I know what it is.
#3 UNITY – Wordle you got me again!
I like your play narration.
Considered using UNITY to start, but thought we had too many U words recently, so opted for PASTE. Seeing the T placement, MONTH instantly occurred to me. Did TB go totally overboard with sequencing QUEER MONTH?! Um, no. 🤦🏻♀️ I need to find the happy medium between overly hasty and analysis paralysis. Heigh-ho, another word off my starts list.

I used Salon, Trice, which led to Unity as the answer. After I solved it, I did it again on paper using Raise, Clout – not the best pair of starting words. I try to use the 10 most common letters in Wordle answers in my first 2 guesses based on the original NYT list. I could not come up with a word that includes C, L, O, N, T, so I used CLOUT. That also led to a score of 3, but only because both pairs of words had one letter in the right position.

Your post name and email form a unique combo that makes Wordle think you are a new person. It triggers a moderation step, which I’m glad to do, and once approved, it will work again. So in theory, you can now jump between your thumb name and your non-thumb name with auto-post. Fun idea.
Approving is easy for me. I get a little notice and say “OK” to real people. Spam doesn’t get approved.

ADK experienced a random security “rejection” when trying to post and let me know about it. It turns out the HostGator web server has a filter that watches for suspicious form submits that may be “malicious” code.
I found a switch to turn that off. Let me know if you also have or do experience such.
I guess all of our grid art and emoji based posts can look suspicious to some. 🤷
