I did have some insight before guessing as I know a friend’s usual first word and sometimes see her solution before I get to mine.

Of course I’m curious how removed you were from the vacuum of solution information. I’m assuming you saw your friend’s grid of yellows and greens with only knowing their start word.
But regardless, congrats on the rare 1!

Luck 74/99I always begin with STILE. LOFTY on two was unlikely to be the answer, but it did point to LOATH.
ACCORDING TO Wordlebot LOTTO was also available, so I lucked out.

I got LOATH in 3. I would have gotten it in 2 tries but I thought it was 6 letters – Loathe. Ha, I thought she made a mistake! As is often the case, after I looked it up I realized I was wrong. Spelled both ways. I love learning something new every day!

If I see this pattern again, it will be an ADD or a REPEAT guaranteed.
I’m not so sure that we aren’t done with ADDs, because I haven’t seen one since TOADY on 4/18/26 (literally a month ago)
Has she run out of ideas?
I expect either a cluster of ADDs coming soon or none at all.

Nineteen possible answers according to the Wordle Solver Tool based on Stane. Thanks for the fiveforks list! The list indicated that 2 words were not previously used. Also, most of those 17 were used after JAN. 2022. Words not previously used: Loath and Tramp. I thought Ms. Bennett might be loath to use Tramp because it can have a negative connotation. For whatever reason that was a good choice.-

I think you’re right about TRAMP.
There a lot of borderline common controversial words that haven’t been played including. Also, these are not on the 2315 list.

P____S – a famous male organ
