🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩 RiserUsing Stane and Loric, I got it down to Miser, Riser, Wiser. Miser was used in DEC. ‘25 and Wiser was used in March ‘26. Possibly this was a “gift” to those whose first 2 guesses use the 10 most common letters in Wordle answers.

Yes, I do the exact same thing before choosing my start word each day.

I always open with STILE, and today it gave the me the S, I, and E.
Wordlebot suggested AEGIS as a possible solution, and it has not been used. (But I never would have come up with it except maybe with a word finder.)
But my previously used second word RISEN ruled out everything but RISER, also unused.

This is why I like easy mode: I can test five more letters in the second word.
After SANER, I used the Word Finder site to figure out the most likely letters and then used the Miriam Webster site to find a word with those letters.

Prof. Mike’s list: SATER chosen by Richard (Maryland)OSIER (a willow rod used in basketry) reduced possibilities to three, removing the O from consideration. The PU list eliminated two of the three : MISER (#1638) and WISER (#1740), both solutions too recently used according to current probability statistics. Very satisfying solve!
