Anyone ever play dordle?
It clearly has a human editor
The two solutions are usually unrelated, but every so often they are connected. Todays were music and bugle
Sometimes the connection is also comical-
I used to play Quordle (up until this year until my cache got cleared and my entire play history disappeared.)
I tried this Dordle today.

β¬β¬β¬β¬β¬ LOINS
π©π©π©π©π© TWEETI used Crate, Loins to get it down to 5 possible answers (I crossed out 2 possible answers already repeated in 2026) which left: Beget, Debut, Duvet, Tweed, Tweet. Of the list of possible answers after my 2nd guess, only Tweet had not been used before. Starting in February, Ms. Bennett, the Wordle Editor, repeated 2 answers in February and 4 in March. This month there have been only 2 repeated answers, so it was a hard decision, but I thought my chances were better with Tweet. Whew!
-
Repeat will probably come on 5/5 (Cinco De Mayo), because she had repeats on 2/2, 3/3, and 4/4.
Whether she sneaks one in around 4/29, remains to be seen.
I am expecting an ADD around 4/29 though.
She’s back to even on ADD’s vs REPEAT’s since CIGAR (which is a REPEAT); so, that’s why I favor an ADD vs. a REPEAT.
I am still basing this on 1 ADD every 10 days and 1 REPEAT every 10 days.
I have not looked at it from a monthly perspective before which is interesting.
-
I wonder if it would take Cinco in 5/5?
Wouldnβt that be fun?
-
-
I update the running odds of repeat vs new at the top of the list each day. Between a repeat and new word, you have 89% odds with new (for now.) So you bet right!
I have taken a chance on first year words several times, though.

(3) TWEETPretty straightforward today. No ADDs or Repeats.
-
I was not familiar with the word ROATE. I plan to try it when I need a first guess containing R, T, A, and ending in E. Thnx!
-
Not only did I get it in two, more importantly I got my 1000-day Streak badge (finally!) and my 200 Sea of Greens badge.
I also got really lucky with my start word choice today.Wordle 1,769 2/6*

Kim, You did great! Thanks for the suggestion for using CLEAT. I typically base my first 2 guesses on the top 10 letters in Wordle answers based on the original list. They are: E,A,R,O,Tβ¨L,I,S,N,C. First, I look at the answers for the past week or so to see which of those letters are scarce or absent. For the first guess, I usually use a word that ends in E. If there hasnβt been an answer starting with S or C in a while Iβll go for an initial S or C for the first guess.
