🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩Started with Salet (my usual starting word). After several guesses took a wild chance on the second guess hoping to get more letters for a 3rd attempt. Lo and behold…rare word!

Thought QUOTA would be good but burned, as well as TODAY. Thought TOKAY might be it but decided too regionally obscure. GOATY another oddball I dismissed as too odd. Finally decided on either TODAY or TOADY. Figured overdue for a repeat so agonized over that likelihood but chose the correct one. I’m still struggling with the clipboard link and can’t figure how to link here. Also can’t view past days comments. Do I need to sign up somewhere here? Thanks…?-
The only way I can get my puzzle squares to post is to sent them in text to my usual player group, then copy and paste from there. The share button only works to send to texts for me.

Good workaround. WordPress is trying to protect the site from code being pasted in. I’ll do some experimenting in the lab…

I tried TODAY at #266 because it was first year and we are over due for a repeat.
Nice roll of the TOAD for a TWO!

Given an option I can see I’ll always guess an unused word.
If I have to second guess the system I’ll just second guess myself.
And maybe I’m still bitter about the change. 🙂

Another help I use is a scrabble game cover to confine two each of common tiles, the Q,Z,K,J,X off to the left side, vowels to the right side and cluster in groups of five consonants while using a tile rack after using my starter LATER. Helps with the tougher brain twisters and easier to visualize as opposed to taxing my 75 year old brain! I get into trouble with triple letters (as in mummy) as I don’t give any room on my set-up for them, but they are rare enough to not be too concerning…

Thanks for the suggestion. My brother also uses Scrabble tiles. I might try it too.
I hesitate to tax my 52-year-old brain either.
