Why do you think that is, when you get 6 tries?

Same here. 3 or less is a “win”.
I am one of those who went to 6 tries today (4/16/26: CUBIT).
More annoyingly, it pushed my lifetime average from 3.45 to 3.46.

seems silly to be disappointed with a 4 guess ‘win’ but once we’ve set that bar for ourselves……-
We set ourselves to higher standards. (or is it lower standards because the number of guesses is lower?) LOL!
My wife and I have a friendly competition on Wordle to see who can get it in fewer words.
She often beats me. Including today! She got it in 5. I got it in 6 (which hasn’t happened for 2 years.)

my daughter does occasionally, but mostly i play solo – so love coming on here to see what others have played…..

BEGUNI try to guess only unused words until backed into a corner.
After seemingly forever HASTE was my first Wordle-in-1 in December, then HASTY three months later. Was happy to discover TREAD hasn’t been used yet.

peoples’ word choices are an interesting comparison-
