I was thinking enabled, capable, but didn’t make the link with disabled -

ALLEYI had it narrowed down to ABLED and ALLEY. Guessed correctly.

Good choice, but just a note for future reference, I don’t think you’ll find many with that end in “ed” where “ed” is just added to the end of a word for past tense, similar to no words end with “s” for plural.
You won’t find added, ended, etc.

Two English majors over here (at my house) are debating if ABLE is a verb. me: 🤷🏼 her: 🤷♀️

LOL. I am the farthest thing from an English major!
I am an engineer, teacher of design and computer science classes.
I was actually pretty average in English classes! I am much better at math and drawing things.
I approach all these word games from a mathematical / probability perspective.

I think we’ll see another ADD before a repeat.
Last ADD was CAROM on 4/10.
Last REPEAT was SANDY on 4/4. Then, COMET ON 3/30.
There was one more REPEAT than ADD since CIGAR was played.
I suspect it will even out.
Maybe, we’ll get both around 4/13-4/15.
