π©π©π©π©π© BreakCrone led to about 30 possible answers with 10 used before 2024. TRIED narrowed it to 2 and they were used in 2021: FRESH in July and BREAK in DEC. There are more words on the Wordle Word List starting with BR as compared to words staring with FR. Only 90 min. to get it in 3. π

π§π§π§π§π§STEAL left 12 possible, but all had been used! The youngest reuse so far was from 2023, so I removed anything newer, which left 6. The oldest option was also a pretty good filter.

Went with the earliest repeat, as those were all I could think of to fit.

Why does the repeat list show SMILE as the last repeat on 5/30/26? I thought that meant 13 days since the last repeat, so I tried three early repeats. But Jebβs first page says Low odds.
Apparently there was a more recent repeat that is not included in the list.-
Oh, I see now the repeat list doesnβt show THUMB on 6/7/26, and I forgot about it. Well that will teach me.
-
Thumb was updated on all 3 lists as a repeat: Alpha, Chron, and Block. The “LOW” odds showing 4 days passed has been counting up since then. (I only count up to yesterday since today is “unkown”.)
You may have a caching problem, which I’d like to help resolve. For the next few days, can you watch the update date/time at the top of the list? Updates are at 6 a.m. E.T. which shows as today for most players.
*IF* that date is old, there is a little blue recycle button you can click on to force an update.
But really, the site is supposed to refresh in everyone’s browser once a day.

Wordle 1,819 4/6
π¨β¬π¨β¬π¨ ROATE
β¬π¨β¬π¨π¨ WAGER
π¨π©π©β¬β¬ ARENA
π©π©π©π©π© BREAK (172)I feel fortunate to have come away with a 4 on this one. Another Repeat!
Sheβs definitely picking up the pace now. It might be 1 in 9 now. Sheβs 1 full repeat ahead of schedule based on 1 in 10.
There are 541 words left in the 2315 list with %76.6 already been played.
ROATE narrowed down to 12.
WAGER left only one solution
ARENA I thought with the World Cup starting that this was it! Nope.
I have to admit that I said βUh ohβ when I matched 3 letters on the first word. Smelled like a REPEAT from the getgo!
So, then I had a dilemma! I needed to focus on getting this done in 6 (forget 4)!
I established the β_REA_β pattern
What was left?
BREAD (649)
BREAK (172)
BREAM (ADD)
CREAK (347)
CREAM (1344)
DREAD (1480)
DREAM (504)
FREAK (1682)
OREAD – unlikely
UREAL – unlikely.Most common letters were B, D, K, M
So, I decided on BREAK (172) which was the earliest REPEAT.
Lucky! Guess 5 might have been a burner word.

Runner at the starting block at the 100m dash?-
I felt the same about my solve in 4.
I see the runner!

Right, by my calculation for 1 in 10, sheβs one full word ahead. Instead of 13 repeats since CIGAR, weβre at 14 now.
1 repeat every 9.3 games.
So close to 1 in 9 now.
ADDs have virtually stopped (Although, there are 2 in the queue).
