Just did a quick look at the NYT wordle comments — there were a sh💩t ton of aces and deuces today.
Bot is showing right now 3.1 as the average. Nearly half of all wordlers got it in 1, 2, or 3 today. 12% got it in 2–higher than normal but not the highest.

I have been surprised by solutions before, so I could totally be wrong, but I would think TB would want to avoid anything that could bring about even a whiff of controversy.
For example, TRUMP is also 58%, but I have a feeling she is going to avoid that one.

I started playing in October of 2023 and played alert everyday until it was finally the answer in March of 2025. Then I had two more. Sonar and one I can’t remember 🤦♀️ it was a random word when I was trying to decide on a new starting word.
I’m stuck on 2 Holes in 1 until STEAL hits
You gotta switch up your starts to get more! That’s how I got my 16 Aces.

In this situation, WordleBot ranked it’s top 3 choices– FRISE 99, PRISE 97 and RINSE 76. What???
In mine, it ranked weird adds (gorse, frise, prise) almost as high as rinse for probability.
Bizarre. The code has logic errors.
If the Bot is assuming that FRISE, PRISE, and RINSE are equally likely, those rankings would make sense, since RINSE wouldn’t tell you which of the other two words it could be, while guessing FRISE would tell you whether it were PRISE or RINSE.
That makes sense. That’s how I play it if they are all OG words (or all ADDs).
FRISE, PRISE sound like ADDs to me (without looking it up)
I made a similar error in judgement on RULER.

Prof. Mike’s Word of the Week; TARSE was Andrew’s favorite starting word in 2025
TARSE left 6 words : RINSE, FRISE, PRISE, ROUSE, REUSE, and PROSE. I did not think of FRISE (kind of cloth) or REUSE. I also considered EROSE which turns out not to be a weighted WordleBot word.
Today is the first day after a repeat word, so PROSE, ROUSE, and REUSE were not likely. RINSE was a good eliminator and a great solution!

err, no – I’m still somewhat confused about the whole Bot thing – it wont allow me to use it unless I subscribe…..
I asked Hojy (our other early player) and he said TARPS was start word – so I assumed……. then upon seeing the FFAP Family’s bot comments – realized its individual to each individual. I mean, I’m not cerebrally challenged – but that was pretty br’ead (braindead)

Two ways to use the WordleBot free:
1. If you play Wordle in Safari browser, you can ask for the analysis and most days it puts an ad overlay. In the Safari address bar you can pick “Hide Distracting Items” and click on the overlay to remove, click the “check” in the address bar to say you are done, and then use the revealed analysis button. Takes a little practice.
2. OR… you can use a new Incognito or Private browser window, go back and play your game, and it will let you do the analysis because you seem “new”. (This second play does not tie to your stats since it is Incognito or Private.
I mainly do this to get my “Words Left” numbers to see how well my guesses filtered down the choices.

Huh, so it had R & S in wrong positions to get RINSE, interesting…..
With my settings of normal + past knowledge, the BOT chose: SLATE / PROUD / RINSE.
Where can I change bot settings? I even asked chatgpt and got nothing.
You have to have at least a free NYT account for it to set your preferences for WordleBot. Under Wordle settings (sprockets) is the option to play in Hard Mode and in the Bot go at least one screen into analysis to access settings with Knowledge of Past Lists.
