🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩 RURALI usually open with a word containing R+L, and I compiled a list of opener options— much fewer available now then when I began this. Rural has been on my list but never used to open bc why open with two Rs? It was a good second round play, though!

For those who care, NYT has officially made through %75 of the original 2315 list (actually 2309 words after you remove the 6 banned words).
It would be interesting to see if the pace of repeats and adds start to increase as we approach %80, %90 completion.

I just realized I didn’t bring down the “U”. I think I got side tracked using the new filter tool. Easy mode = “mistake mode”. 😡I recorded the wrong starter in my log. So no play mistake, just a logging mistake!

🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩 RURALNothing to brag about here. Went with first word popped into my mind for solve on 3. Ended my mini-streak of 9 in a row solves-in-three. Can’t break the 10 barrier! Today went against my own rule of using two vs. one vowel, but I’m deathly allergic to using double letters! Also, statistically rural was a much better likely solve than brawl. Ouch!
