I use a word containing 5 of the letters from the 10 most common letters in Wordle answers for my first guess and a word containing the other 5 letters for my 2nd guess if I don’t get enough info from the first guess. The most common letters in Wordle answers are: E, A, R, O, T, L, I, S, N, C, in order of frequency from real-statistics.com/wordle. This worked OK for me today.-

===========================It inspired me to anagram those 10 letters and analyze their “green” scores to see if I could come up with other combos that would also work.

The green score is how many greens (correct letter in the correct position) are scored in the entire 2315 list of original answers.( ) shows the puzzle number.
Never – means it’s never going to be the answer.
No (2315) – means it hasn’t been played yet, but has a high probability of being the answer some day.
(Playable) – means it’s on the Playable words list but not likely to be the answer.CRATE (45) / LOINS (Never) = 2186 greens

That’s why I’ve been using LATER and SCION. Only difference is the S is number one starter letter, double that of the second place C. The U of course is process of elimination consideration if only one vowel gets caught in the net on first two…

🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩 EERIEI simply couldn’t avoid a repeat until I finally thought of it. Shook my head and nearly choked on my coffee as first two letters turned green! I figured at the least I’d find where the E belonged! BTW, anyone else ever notice how the letters turn a nanosecond faster when a correct solve? It’s eerie!
