SINGE -
I start with EARTH, and SINGE is (was?) one of my favorites when only the E hits. SINGE captures that good S + N + I combination. I play in hard mode, so I am especially interested letter placements.

Ouch – that was tricky. I was lucky to get 4 letters with my second guess and eventually there were only a few letters that would work.
