After I ROSE, I took a ride over the grey LINTY road, rolling over green PUDGY hills. It was a BUMPY ride, avoiding MUDDY pools with yellow DUCKY’s. My FUDGY HUBBY didn’t come along; she was JUDGY and HUFFY because I wasn’t HUGGY this morning, but I was FUZZY about my worst 14-day average since January LAST year: 3.7.
😅 I’m on a similar ride despite starting with different words. Maybe I should have started with the LEAKY pipe I found under the kitchen sink this morning. It was a BUMPY start to the day. Right behind you at 3.6. 🤷♀️

Hi, I appreciate your comment. I am a Grammar Police too, and I noticed I left the ” ‘ ” after I posted. Then I couldn’t edit anymore… unless?
Grammarly corrected DUCKY’s to DUCKIES. Still, I needed the word DUCKY, and after not accepting the correction, I forgot to delete the ” ‘ ” before posting, as I am also somewhat impatient. Need practice sitting on my hands.
I set Grammarly to US grammar, thus “grey”.

I play Backgammon, and doubles often cluster!
An even distribution would mean it’s NOT random
For sure doubles cluster … for my wife after she’s accepted my offer of the doubling cube! 😁
We love relaxing with a good ten or so games of backgammon. Our standard personal tournament goal is first to 25.
Totally agree with your take on randomization clusters. That said, when it comes to dice randomization, if I’m rolling poorly in any dice game I will turn dice over before picking them up, roll with my other hand, or straight up get new dice. And in backgammon I’ll roll into the side of the board my wife has been rolling into, to take her good luck and drop off some of my bad luck.
Of course most of this is for my own psychological wellbeing. But I also like to imagine these actions add another fandomizing filter that breaks any unconscious dice rolling pattern.
Oh, and of course there’s ‘dice hate’. … Sometimes dice just hate a person.

I use the “Dice Wait” tactic. To break the spell of the evil and biased spirits, wait 10-20 seconds before throwing. See if it works for you.

After irons I had bumpy dumpy humph #3 muddy pudgy pygmy. After yesterday’s discussion about humph I wondered if TB would possibly test our limits with another repeat.
Remember when we were all looking forward to October for a restart on our monthly averages? Not working out for this nerdler 🙄
Until it was “the word” last year I started with alert. If I struck out there sonic was next. If still nothing I played pudgy. According to wordle solver I would have had the exact same result today. Some days I just can’t help more nerdling 😅

As an aroser I didn’t appreciate this one. Blackout (OK, lavender in my case – why is that? they are black in the game, but not from Share) the same as on 10/6 with 187 words, 48 NU’s, to choose from. AGAIN! I won with dimly as my 2nd guess before. I remembered considering using imply before, so I decided to use it this time. It narrowed it down to bumpy, dumpy, and pygmy. Pygmy, if wrong would not have eliminated either of the other 2. I liked bumpy better than dumpy.
