Fudge ruled in/out 4 words including Fudge that were NU.
Now that I know about the 20 Testers who solve Wordle ahead of time, I saw in WordleBot that their average for today’s Wordle is 5.3, which was rated as Very Challenging. So if you got it in 6 or fewer turns, you did well.
I worked most of my career in a middle school and I enjoyed the Mean Girls movie. I’m mostly retired, but I can assure you that while most teen girls are very kind and inclusive, the mean girls are still with us; a challenge for administrators and a topic of lively conversation in the teachers’ lounge. What I noticed was that the organizers were girls with strong leadership skills. My hope was that with maturity, they would channel those skills in a positive direction!

Since I haven’t been playing in hard mode lately I decided to try a burner word. And, if I’m looking at the results correctly the yellow e told me there was a third e and I totally missed it. Right?
The bot told me seder was exactly what it would have picked in my situation. On this initial results screen it also told me I tied with it at 4. But, in the analysis it got it in 3. What the?
I’m not sure I understand.
Couldn’t the yellow E in SEDER just be pointing back to that central E from CLEAT?
This doesn’t look like a mistake play to me. With your third guess you eliminated GEEKY and WEEPY, which both seem like legitimate possibilities. Not sure what that fourth word after SEDER would have been.
I’m not sure I understand either 😅 I initially thought about pointing back to that central e but then was second guessing myself after I finished. In order to rule out a third e I think would have had to play a 3 e word.
The bot said the fourth word was beefy.
I concur w/what Mike said: The yellow E only tells you that there is at least one more E.

I tested Urine as my 2nd word and it had 5 words left plus a plethora of re-petes so went with the standard whomp word. Faired worse.
How are you feeling about slate as a start word these days, fellow slaters?
I’m good with it. I know there are others that enjoy using a different word daily but I can understand my performance by anchoring to the same word daily
SLATE letters are all among the most common letters in WORDLE.
S is the most common 1st letter .
Really though, probably not a hoot of difference between SLATE, CRANE, TRACE
I’m good as well. I don’t use filter words and yet URINE filtered out all but two on my list; bocce and peeve. Was a 50/50/ P is on a higher tier that B, so there you go.
Thanks to FFAP, my list grows daily. I’ve learned a lot at this party.

🙌🏻 this is info I was wanting after today’s game. Are you getting your ADD data from wordle tools?
The original list of 2,359 words has been widely publicized (it was publicly visible in the HTML of the original game webpage), so he could easily deduce that any word not on that original list is an ADD.
All I will say is, look in detail at wordlebot.
I did tell you guys the ADDs were coming.
There will be even more when this month is over.

I only have a standard 2nd GUESS when the E is yellow. Had 7 NU on my list (BEECH, CREEP, DRECK, FREED, GEEKY, PEEVE, WEEPY). Went with the C/P combo in CREEP. That eliminated all but the solution and WEEPY. I guessed correctly

I did it by copying and pasting Glenda’s red square via a note but would like to know the easier way.
Open your emojis and search for “red square.”
