I recharted this one to check all the WB scores and verify that PUDGY is still the best filter, and it is. Should give me a 3 in about 20 out of 32 cases.
PUDGY left 2 choices. CLOUT and UNCUT.
I would rather play the tier 2 letters O L T than a UU and a C. So, this is a no brainer choice for me except that it wasn’t correct.
3rd day in a row coming out on the wrong side of the 50-50.

I used TRUNK as a throwaway filter word, and still no green but picked up the U and N. Started filling in random letters and CUNIT was accepted, but not a possible answer apparently. Finally had the Eureka moment for bogey. I often overlook the UN-something words

It’s still early and I could have left and racked my brain all day until the 3rd option came to me, but I value my streak more than the number of guesses. I’m paranoid that I would think I already played today and forget to return, so I always try to finish in one session

I think exactly the same way. If I don’t do Wordle before starting my day I might forget and miss my streak (which only happened once but it dropped my Win record to 99% and never became 100 again!). Even though the 99% is probably 99.97884 – or something like that.-
My actual win percentage is 99.52437574: 1674/1682 played games. My streak is now 413 days.
My displayed win percentage went up from 99 to 100 some time to either side of hitting a streak of a full year. It wasn’t at a year though. I imagine it was when I got to 99.5%.
Interesting that Wordle counts the unfinished games as losses instead of unplayed games.

I skipped one day bc of a death in the family. I’m forever at 99% which is fine. I’m heading to 500 Max Streak in 31 days!

Nice to have company during the day. Most of the conversations happen during our night. Resulting in a catch up at breakfast time on yesterday’s word. So we are juggling two words at the same time.

It’s so weird the amount of time difference. We spent 3 weeks in Australia last year… flying out we lost a whole day! Of course made up flying home. Took me forever to adjust to the jet lag.

The jet lag is difficult.
We often have one or two nights of holiday closer to our time zone before actually arriving home. -
When we get to travel international we try to get our jet lag over the first day by arriving in the early afternoon then forcing ourselves to stay awake until a reasonable sleeping time.
But since we lounge enough at home, we’re not into lounging vacations abroad. So our days are chock full of activities, which also helps us.

They say you recover about 1 hour per day.
Judging my numerous European vacations from the US, I would say that’s about right for me.
I’m headed to NZ in December; so, that will be a challenge.
Although, I’ve already been to China and Japan so I’ve experienced a very long trip over the International Date Line before. (BTW, This is where your Wordle streak ends, because you lose a day! My current streak of 702 games is post the Japan trip. LOL.)

most I’ve seen (as a Downunder morning player) since I began to take note – a big variety of locations – many unfamiliar to me….-
I’ve been tweaking the code for 2 days. I think I have all of the two-character country codes mapped for the (i) pop-up table.
Took me a bit to figure out why Spain is ES and CH is Switzerland (not China.) I then recalled learning about the font name the last time I dug into Confoederatio Helvetica.
