🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩 CLUNK -
That took way too long, but I guess it was worth it. I just knew there would be a ➕ today, but when I got to my 3rd guess I had to think long and hard before deciding to use CLUNK instead of CLUCK, a ♻️. It took me more than an hour to press enter, but I made the right decision!

Wordle 1,877 4/6
⬜⬜⬜⬜⬜ RAISE
⬜🟨⬜⬜⬜ PUDGY
🟩🟩⬜🟨⬜ CLOUT
🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩 CLUNK (ADD)RAISE matches no letters and so leaves 32 words. This is not as bad as I in the wrong position which leaves 37 words.
PUDGY is still the optimal filter play.
At this point I know it isn’t a P or an I word.
PUDGY leaves CLOUT and UNCUT.
I would rather rule out the L and O which are tier 2 letters. (OLTYN)
CLOUT rules out unplayed 2315 words and REPEATs too! So, only ADDs are left.
CLUCK(56%), CLUNK(56%)
Tough decision. Banking on the double letter run is over, I went with CLUNK.
Having an ADD close to the 2 REPEATs is classic TB “clustering” logic.
Maybe another ADD tomorrow! Back to Back REPEATS followed by Back to Back ADDs.
==============================
One kid on the hill throws a football to a kid on the bottom of the hill. The kid on the bottom misses the catch so the football lands on the ground “Clunk!”-
You bring up a good point; will be watching for back to back ADDs. Hmmmm. 🤨
-
She’s done back to back ADDs three times already.
Many times with one word in between.
It’s more the norm than the exception.

🔥💪 woohoo! sure seems like its been a while since i nailed a deuce!
🏌️♂️after drivin’ over the creek and right up on to the green i took my time lining up this putt…gettin’ the lay of the land and consultin’ the highest authorities (aka lists and filters) available. 🤓
🤔 with three gnus left to choose from (unless that sneaky pete ptb slipped us another mickey) i weighed my options ⚖️…another 👁️(last five in a row), an ehh(been a while), or a 🐑(a cluster of ’em a week ago)???
really wanted this putt to drop as i was on a wordle hiatus when the last c…k word surfaced (CLACK 1849 07/12/26), on the day before my bday.
in the end i went with my sentimental favorite, knowing that even if it lipped out it would leave me with a tap in for bird…never up never in.
…and shazam ⚡️🎯 in it went ⛳️
🤔 now about the purse💰for this tournament…😎

“You will receive no purse, but there will be spiritual rewards on death row.”
Quote from Caddy-shank, a little-known parody film receiving 5% (you know, for the effort) on Rotten Potatoes, a little known parody movie review site that is currently being sued for copyright infringement.
At least I entertain myself.
-
I’ll have to find this on YouTube
-
And, when you find it lemme know! 🤭
-
I just searched for it on YouTube. I could not find it.
-
-
Aha … Caddyshank is only showing on Cellflix available only for currently serving convicts.
-
OK, so I guess I’ll not be able to view that one.
How were you able to see it? hmmmm
-
Wasn’t it the makers of Caddy-shank who returned in the 90s with another little known parody, ‘Terminal Veracity’.

Dang! Didn’t even realize until after party that CLUNK was an ADD. Had it in my chart unmarked. Clink, clank, clunk. If I had marked it as a possible ADD, would have been looking at a 🅿️🪵🥵or❌ instead of a 🐥 Ignorance was bliss. 🥸

The lesser known sequel, ‘Clink, Clank, Clunk, Cows That Operate Heavy Machinery.’ 😁

Our town motto is IRL “Cows, Colleges, and Contentment” and I’m going to petition to add “…that operate heavy machinery” to it. Wish me luck!

-
🤔 you have a chart? awesome! …conjuring up visions of a situation room where the monumental wordleology decisions are made. 😎
-
Situation Room for wordleology…LOL!
-
She stands in the flickering glow of five monitors, a lone wordleologist wearing a coat made entirely of green and yellow sticky notes. Her walls are a geometric nightmare of unhinged statistics: thousands of red strings radiate outward from a central, framed portrait of Tracy Bennett, pinning down diagrams of letter-frequency charts, a master ledger of used words, and a blood-red arrow pointing directly to the word GUNKY.
“Ayyy, ’tis a dark TRAP-letter pattern, ye scurvy dog, ye’ll be walkin’ the plank if ye don’t use a Whomp-filter word!” screams a phonetic pirate transmission from KRALC. She glances at JD’s massive, frantic data feed, which shuns the letter C while tracking hundreds of potential ADDs more common than PSHAW that Tracy might smuggle onto the original 2,315 list. JD is currently calculating the odds of a triple-P entry, screaming into the forum “I told you that PRIVY was next!”
To her left, a holy, glowing terminal displays a man named Jeb, the legendary wizard of the Nerdle after party and the used words filter. He sits at his master console, filtering the entire historical dataset on Five Forks to track the gnu options. She sighs, ready for a gnu word, even with the paucity of a proper gnu emoji. She checks the leaderboard, sweating under the pressure of Kim, with her 2.9 monthly average, a streak so immaculate it borders on witchcraft. 🧙🏻
Surrounded by a fortress of empty coffee cups and a mountain of shredded dictionaries, she stares at the blinking cursor on her screen, hyperventilating as she prepares to submit SLATE to secure her standard 🐥 or at least avoid a ⛳️. She hits the enter key, praying she won’t plunge down the Wells of Doom. Instead, the grid flashes completely gray.
With a hollow laugh, she realizes Tracy Bennett has bypassed the English language entirely this morning to drop ZZZXX. It is a total ❌ Fail. The bot 🤖 has won. The entire puzzle is an elaborate, targeted psychological experiment meant just for the Five Forks After Party—but as she reaches for her iPad to post her defeat to the forum, she mutters, “If you think my emoji skills are sweet, Tracy, you should see my sweet nunchuck skills.”

🟩🟩⬜⬜⬜ Cleat
🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩 ClunkThe most recent Wordle answer containing C was 7/19/26, so I thought there should be one soon. Cleat left only Clunk that was NU. 🙂
-
I noticed how few c’s have been played lately too.
-
I think she is trying to keep more words with C than P since they are close on the letter frequency list.
She can afford to play CLUNK, because it is an ADD.
There was a huge run on C’s earlier in the year.
Pay attention to these trends, there are clues in there.

I don’t have the ADD list. JD has all the stats. Someday Jeb might have a link to JD’s info! 🤞

Don’t be shocked when we see the 47th tomorrow.

GNU = Gnu is Not Unix

gnu=acquiesce to gnu (has no emoji, bison is close-ish)
ptb=💯
ff=no to fff because it takes more effort and if tb isn’t going to put in the extra effort then why should we?
ffff=heck yeah! If only to mess with people it’s worth the extra work of the 4 fs. 🏳️🌈👁️
