If I had checked FF for the last few solves I never wouldβve picked a C word. This time
being impulsive worked out. I didnβt even think of CLANK, or it probably wouldβve been my 3rd guess. This whole solve is a successful comedy of errors. π€¦π»ββοΈπ

β¬β¬β¬π¨π¨ TONAL
π©π©π©π©π© CLACK
RAISE leaves 18 words.
The most common letters in these words are L(12), O(9), N(8), T(7) and C(6).
This makes TONAL the perfect choice!
Would get a 3 on 13 out of 18.
Of course, that didnβt happenβ¦
I was left with CLACK and FLACK
Since we discovered the mini trend of double letters, I decided on CLACK even though there isnβt C in RAISE or TONAL.
The trend is holding for now.

One of these days, it will be DAILY!
I beat the Bot but I am not seeing a badge for it. On the other hand, the date for the Botβs analysis of past solutions has changed to July 5, 2026. It used to be May.
Weird. What happens when you go to the wordle archive?
Nothing on At hive. When I check all my badges, I donβt see it in the list of ones to earn either.

It sounds like your account is stuck in the past if youβre still in June. Iβve been having caching issues recently, tooβspelling bee keeps going back to a week ago and I have to refresh it several times each day. I wonder if NYT changed something recently.
It will be DAILY some day for sure.
Has there ever been a badge for beating the bot? If so, Iβve never seen it.
@Christine earned one.
Ah, I see her comment now, thanks. They must have just started it today. I beat the bot yesterday but didn’t get one.
Actually, now that I look I did beat the bot today. How strange that I didn’t get a badge.
I have never noticed this badge and I’m sure I’ve beaten that pesky little Bot!
Where would it even be listed?
Do you have to be a paid subscriber to see it? I am not one.

Three badges todayβWordle in 2, Sea of green, and a brand new one Beat the Bot. Maybe it was just added today? Thereβs no accumulated results for it retroactively, so maybe itβs just a one time badge.
We were just talking about Click and Clack from CarTalk. It was so fun and miss it.
I certainly miss Car Talk too!
Nicely done?

I used to listen to that show too. Really fun.
Wow! Congrats!
Hmm. I also beat the bot but I didn’t get a badge. I wonder why.

Reminds me of the seatbelt ad in Australia βCLICK CLACK FRONT AND BACKβ
I remember that! – used to live in Aussie (Brisbane then Melbourne)
Over here it’s CLICK CLACK containers….
When I hear CLICK CLACK I remember the children’s book ‘Click, Clack, Moo Cows That Type.’
This has become a game of “what will TB do next?” π
overthinking +++
will she begin with A ? (maybe a B – but BASTE was pu, hence my starter
will she use an early pu ?
will she add?
will she use a theme word ?

I like the anagram.
Regarding CLACK without CLICK, it is a bit of an odd word. But I do think of CLACK as a descriptor for the sound of billiard balls hitting each other.
Absolutely that’s the sound Mike π±vπ±
I tried to do a superscript ‘v’ to make it look like a clack, but ended up with an owl!! π
You can drive yourself nuts trying to predict what words TB will hand select from the pool of answers.
Itβs probably better to just use good strategy and trust your instincts.
This is a game of Mastermind with letters, and she is desperately not trying to be predictable.
We are all playing against TB
True JD, that’s the additional challenge of this game tho’ (that so many are familiar with) – the mind of the unpredictable woman! π€―
My point is donβt waste your energy trying to predict her word.
Just play.
For example, many people overthink when the next REPEAT is going to happen. Itβs a waste of energy and bad strategy (at times) IMHO.
I do totally get your point JD π tho you wont believe me when you see 07/13 – I add all those comments afterwards – tho its not necessarily where my heads at
my 2nd word is often on here (cant remember who)
my 3rd word was for Kralc
my 4th was for TB
my 5th was for me
and….. drumroll – my 6th was for the solve (PHEW as they say)
