Close and Train led to Pizza. I reworked it on paper with Raise and Clout which did not do as well.
Back when the enigmatic Ms. Bennett was giving interviews, I believe someone asked what she’ll do when all the words on the Wordle Word List have been used. I think she said she might throw them all back in the pot. Of course this was before the expanded word list. Any thoughts?
To those of us in the U.S., have a blessed and safe 4th of July!
I think her plan is mix in REPEATS and ADDSs more and more frequently until most of the 2315 list is exhausted. I think she may decide that many of the words on the 2315 list aren’t worth playing (for many reasons).
At that point, I think she’ll take all the played words (including the ones she has added) and put them into a new answer list which will be drawn from randomly.
On the second go around she’ll intentionally repeat on occasion so the entire deck of cards is possible every day.
They really need to hire a programmer though to encrypt the code so people can’t see the answer list.
4 is ok, especially when it ties the Bot…

I went with filmy, a practical choice, although my. Gut was yelling pizza!
It turned out that pizza was the only word left after trying filmy!
😬 wow, that was a slog. 🍕 was on my radar early but sure thought my other choices would rank higher on this 4th of july, especially squib which according to the new oxford american dictionary is “a small firework that burns with a hissing sound before exploding”. 🧨

I feel the same way about AI data centers. I wish we could limit the use of LLMs to worthy causes such as curing diseases, cleaning up the environment, and improving the standard of living for everyone on the planet.

Yes, AI is incorporated in our lives now to a degree many folk have little to no awareness of….. we use it daily.
What’s distressing me are the massive data centres planned, and what it is projected to do to our little country’s resources – already much is in jeopardy from certain decisions (many without citizens input)….. (shhh no politics)
