Jeb,
Please fix the REPEAT list.
You have the wrong date for BREAK.
It should be 6/12 not 6/02
I would have noticed myself, but I keep my own list.
Thank you,
JD
Fixed. Thanks JD. The Repeat Stats table is hand-coded HTML, which lends itself to (my) mistakes.

No worries. It happens.
Thanks for fixing it.
It may have confused a couple of people.

π©β¬π¨β¬π¨ Slate
π©π¨β¬π¨β¬ Saner
π©π©π©π©π© Sepia
Slate led to 4 words not on the PLU: Safer, Saner, Sepia, and Swear. Saner ruled in/out each of the 4, leaving Sepia. I thought that Sepia has an artistic cachet that might appeal to Ms. Bennett, but I wasnβt willing to risk a sure score of 3. π

STEAL left 17 options, but only 4 unused: SAFER, SANER, SAUCE, SEPIA. I went with SAFER, which was a good filter.
Happy with this solve, but kind of sad to see SEPIA go. Itβs a favorite word of mine.

NYT AVG. 3.5
Wordlebot didnβt like my second guess, but it did narrow it down to two, one of which gad been used before.
STILE
SIEVE
SEPIA
Donβt listen to the Bot!
You probably beat it!
Sometimes it says “You bested me,” but it didn’t today, just that there two words to choose from.
I did beat the NYT AVG. though.
Rather than admitting that you did better, it would rather criticize your word instead!
The Bot is a sore loser! LOL
Since we hardly consider the previously used words on FF, your guess was perfect! (other than SEPIA of course)

ROATE narrows it down to 11 words.
PENAL lead directly to SEPIA.
BTW, without looking at the other posts, I expect to see a 1 today. Isnβt this someoneβs start word? I hope so.

I got lucky in that I first slid both yellows in: S?AE? and could not think of anything. And instead of then thinking: S?EA?, I switched the original two yellow positions: SE??A. Liked that vowely answer. Didn’t even get to S?EA?.
Nice!

I chose SEEDY (PU #60) for E placement and possible repeat now that 12 days have passed since the last one. It wasnβt the solution but it led to a checkmate 4.
Still glad that E is back safely from the underworld π
Good βοΈ/π to all!
BREAK was a REPEAT 2 days ago.
JD,
Thanks for pointing this out: sometimes the WordleDays seem to run together π
This is what the last 3 lines of Five Forks Repeat Stats look like on my computer. I have had some trouble with hackersβ¦
Do you see the same numbers? Thanks for checking.
SMILE 05/30/26 1806 9 11.0% 830 3
THUMB 06/07/2026 1814 8 11.1% 115 1
BREAK 06/02/2026 1819 5 10.7% 172 1
As far as I can tell you misdated BREAK on 06/02 vs 06/12.
So, just one number from 0 to 1.
So, 2 days became 12 days.
No biggy.
Not sure what your other numbers mean.
Do you see the link at the top of Five Forks home page? It is underscored and printed in red: Repeat Stats. I printed the last 3 lines of the list of repeated words:
Word Date Seq. Days Odds Pr # Pr Yr
SMILE 05/30/26 1806 9 11.0% 830 3
THUMB 06/07/2026 1814 8 11.1% 115 1
BREAK 06/02/2026 1819 5 10.7% 172 1
I am just trying to find out if my computer has been hacked to show a different date. Quite possible based on previous problems.
OK, I see what you meant.
It does say 6/02
Jeb, can you fix it?
Jeb fixed it.

Iβve been using STILE for a long time now, and maybe someday it will be the answer.

I have loved SEPIA, too. Three vowels! But, had not used it for a while. I was going to use it this time but second-guessed myself and chose MEDIA. Argh! It would have been my third #1.

Great deuce! So at least three of you have been using SEPIA often. It must have helped me think of it after SEEDY!
Nicely done! A 2 is still really good!
You did great!
