even had to close my eyes and roll the 🎲🎲 for the very last entry, dropping the “m” in the second slot instead of a “w” (swile?🤷♂️…had to dig for that definition).
in any event, pleased to stay out of the abyss today, even if just by the hair of my chinny chin chin.

Exactly Jeb. This rocked my wordle! I was hoping SANDY was an aberration. I know nyt had to add words back in, but don’t give us a pattern that holds most of the time. I’ll keep playing because I share daily with a family chat and friend chat. Oh and I guess there is that 1328 day current streak I have going. But nyt is doing to Wordle what disney is doing to star wars.😥

I don’t check if it’s been used before and given there are repeats that’s even more relevant now.
So – no great science – I got lucky.
Then thought it was SMILE and could not work out an alternative and only checked here to see if it had been used recently.
It had around
#850#830 , but given I couldn’t think of anything and knowing the repeat rule – just locked it in !-

🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩 SMILEI tried SEINE after SLIDE but it was not accepted. SEINE has a separate meaning from the river: a type of fishing net. So it had to be SMILE, another repeat solution (#830).

I’ve been using CHIMP as my first word guess for a while now, hoping to eventually get wordle in 1.. no luck with that today, but from the green “I” & yellow “M” – Smile just happened to be my next instinctive guess, so yay for random wordle in 2!! (& according to my stats it’smy 20th wordle in 2! :D) – Many days lately I just go with my quick gut guesses before checking if it’s been used before – I’m glad today was one of those days! 😉
