🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩 VisitA little bit of buyer’s regret that I didn’t try Visit for the second guess. Of 4 possible answers not on the PUL, Joist had the highest score on the Letter by Position Chart for Wordle words at real-statistics.com and Visit had the lowest. Possibly Ms. Bennett was thinking of all the people visiting friends and family on Memorial Day. 🙂

Elaine, I use the PUL to help rule out possible words that I think of, but sometimes there are words that I haven’t thought of. What resource do you use to determine the possible answers given your previous guesses?

Hi Charles,
After my first or second guess I use the Wordle Solver Tool to see what words on the Wordle Word List are candidates. Of course some have already been used. Prior to finding the Solver Tool, I would read through the list of 2,309 words to get ideas. Using the Solver Tool is much more efficient. Here’s the link: https://tryhardguides.com/wordle-solver/-

FWIW, I think JOIST was a better guess than VISIT. At this point, you haven’t established that “I” is in the puzzle, so, it makes no sense to guess 2 of them.

We all have different and valid play styles. … I often spend more time thinking of what my solved puzzles look like than actually solving them.
As long as we’re having fun and giving our minds a little stretch that’s all that matters. 🙂
