I’m fine Glenda. I’m on vacation and dealing with odd hours, time zone shift and spotty network access, but all good. Thanks for asking!

PS to JD: the first time I saw blazing saddles was in the theater when it was released. My reading list and evening activities are now influenced by my kids (and grandkids)π€£

Prof. Mikeβs list: SATER chosen by Richard (Maryland)Sorry about not posting for a couple of days during a difficult time at home. I did the games and will show them today.
Having the A settled in position 2 and the floating R in last place was very helpful. DAIRY did eliminate the Y, but I should have thought more about the double-A possibility. It didnβt matter too much, because PARCH led to a checkmate 4.Wordle 1,785 2/6*

β¬π©β¬β¬π¨ LATER
β¬β¬β¬β¬β¬ SCION
β¬π©π©π¨β¬ HARPY
π©π©π©π©π© PARKAWell, for some odd reason, I thought parka was a trademarked name! Not that I even thought of it before harpy. I feared a repeat more, like hardy…either would have been better statistically except for only one vowel vs. the double a.
-
(1) ROATE
(2) FAIRY
(3) PARKA
No ADD today either.
I am glad the answer wasnβt MOMMA.
-
Indeed! Or the B word, depending on what kind of mother we had…? Ha!

π©π©π©π©β¬ PARKS
π©π©π©π©π© PARKAI was so positive it was PARKS when it wasn’t it took a few minutes to get PARKA. Nice obscure word.
-
Itβs very unlikely the answer will be a plural or active verbs ending in βSβ.
Scan the list of already played words on Five Forks and let me know how many you find.
-
I checked the original list early on. Didnβt find any simple plurals ending in S. The other thing that seems to be almost missing is past tense verbs ending in βedβ. Exception is βbusedβ
-
Exactly, that’s why PARKS is not likely to be the answer.
You are also correct about “ED”. Although, there are quite a few words on the 2315 list ending in ED.
The interesting thing about that, is that a lot of these haven’t been the answer yet and we’re over %75 done with the list.
I posted a list of the ED words from 2315 the other day. I would have to go back and dig that up.

I took the bait thinking it might be a repeat and played Karma first.

Linda,
I was very tempted to go with Karma. There seems to be a general feeling that a Repeated Word is coming soon. Weβll see!
