Add butter or margarine &amp; mix thoroughly until it resembles fine meal. Add beaten egg, mix well. Take in hand &amp; form a smooth ball of dough. Press dough by hand in a greased 9&#8243; pie plate starting in the middle until all dough is used. For the filling, fill crust with the blackberries. Make a custard of the egg, sugar, flour &amp; milk &amp; pour over the berries. Bake in a 350 preheated oven for 30-35 minutes or until crust is done &amp; custard thickens.
