Microwave on high until nuts are toasted (5 to 7 minutes), stirring twice and watching to prevent overbrowning. Meanwhile, in a small bowl, combine sugar, cinnamon, allspice, nutmeg and cloves<br \/>\n set aside. Stir butter into hot walnuts<br \/>\n toss until butter is melted and nuts are evenly coated. Add spice mixture<br \/>\n toss to coat all nuts. Turn coated nuts out onto waxed paper<br \/>\n let cool completely. Store in tightly covered container.
