Grease two 8-by-3 7\/8-by-2-inch loaf pans and set aside. Drain strawberries, reserving half cup juice for the spread and setting aside remainder for the bread batter. In a large mixing bowl, combine strawberries, remaining strawberry juice, flour, 2 cups sugar, baking soda, cinnamon, salt, oil and eggs. Stir just until blended. Divide batter evenly between prepared pans. Bake in center of oven for 1 hour and check for doneness. If necessary, continue baking up to 15 minutes more. Cool and serve with Strawberry Spread. To make the spread: Combine cream cheese, reserved 1\/2 cup strawberry juice and remaining 1\/4 cup granulated sugar. Blend thoroughly.
