{"id":2469,"date":"1999-12-04T13:04:19","date_gmt":"1999-12-04T13:04:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.fiveforks.com\/katfood\/beef-stir-fry-with-blue-cheese\/"},"modified":"1999-12-04T13:04:19","modified_gmt":"1999-12-04T13:04:19","slug":"beef-stir-fry-with-blue-cheese","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.fiveforks.com\/katfood\/beef-stir-fry-with-blue-cheese\/","title":{"rendered":"Beef Stir Fry with Blue Cheese"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"asset-body\">\n<p>1 lb. boneless beef top round steak, trimmed<br \/>\n8 oz. plain yogurt<br \/>\n1\/4 c. crumbled blue cheese<br \/>\n2 Tbs. cornstarch<br \/>\n1\/2 tsp. instant beef bouillon granules<br \/>\nNonstick spray coating<br \/>\n2 c. broccoli flowerets<br \/>\n2 medium carrots, thinly sliced<br \/>\n2 medium onions, cut in thin wedges<br \/>\n1 tsp. cooking oil<br \/>\n3\/4 c. water<br \/>\n1 medium tomato, peeled, seeded &amp; chopped<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<div class=\"asset-more\" id=\"more\">\n<p>Partially freeze beef<br \/>\n bias slice into thin bite size strips. Set aside. For sauce, in a small bowl, combine yogurt, blue cheese, cornstarch &amp; bouillon granules. Set aside. Spray a wok or large skillet with nonstick spray coating. Preheat over high heat until a drop of water sizzles. Stir fry broccoli &amp; carrots for 1 minute. Add onions. Stir fry 2-3 minutes more until vegetables are tender crisp. Transfer vegetables to a serving platter. Cover &amp; keep warm. Add oil to the hot wok, if necessary. Stir fry half of the beef for 2-3 minutes or until done. Remove beef. Stir fry remaining beef for 2-3 minutes or until done. Remove beef. Add water to the wok. Cook &amp; stir to scrape up crusty bits on bottom of wok. Stir sauce<br \/>\n add to wok. Cook &amp; stir until thickened &amp; bubbly<br \/>\n cook &amp; stir 2 minutes more. Return beef to wok. Cook &amp; stir until heated through<br \/>\n stir in tomato. Spoon over vegetables.
